Dick Cameron – Managing Director
Dick Cameron is the Managing Director of WorkforceXS Tamworth and is a respected and experienced business owner in the North West with extensive experience in livestock marketing, rural property and real estate. His other business activities have prospered because of superior service, local relationships, skilled and experienced staff, integrity and a commitment to the highest standard of business ethics. WorkforceXS and Dick’s handpicked support team is founded on these qualities also.
Laurie Carrigan – Director
Laurie Carrigan launched WorkforceXS Tamworth in February 2007 with the vision of creating a sustainable, high quality and competitive human resources consultancy. With extensive previous recruitment industry experience, including the management of large on-hired workforces, Laurie has been a part of local industry for many years, and has a unique understanding of the challenges they face.
Laurie holds an Economics degree, Diploma in Management, Cert IV in Training & Assessment, is a qualified automotive mechanic and holds various Workplace certificates.
Kathy Miller – Administration Officer/Consultant
Kathy Miller joined Workforce Extensions Tamworth in 2014.
Kathy is responsible for the recruitment and selection of quality permanent and on-hired staff. With the expanding need for disability support she has taken on the role of Disability Support Coordinator for WorkforceXS Tamworth. This includes matching participants and their needs with the most suitable support workers. Kathy finds this position very rewarding, helping individuals receive the support that they need and seeing the wonderful outcomes that are achieved.
Kathy is also our Return to Work Coordinator. Kathy has extensive experience in administration, customer service, sales and marketing.
Nev White – Business Development Officer
Nev White joined WorkforceXS Tamworth in 2014.
Nev is responsible for the development of new business as well as maintaining a high standard of service to our current clients. Nev has an extensive background in the construction and metal fabrication industries as well as a good knowledge of supplying the right staff to local businesses.
Under a labour hire arrangement WorkforceXS provides individual workers to your company and we take responsibility for all elements of the worker’s remuneration.
Workers may be provided on a casual, part time, full time or on-going basis as either temporary or relief workers to augment staff during periods of peak or seasonal demand, as specialist staff or on a more permanent basis following the outsourcing of part of a business.
Under these arrangements, WorkforceXS will recruit, select and induct suitable staff and retain these staff as employees, on-hired to your business. WorkforceXS pays all wages and entitlements, superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation insurance and PAYG withholding. An hourly rate of hire is invoiced to your business on the basis of hours paid to the employee from a duly authorised timesheet.
Our hourly rates of hire are based on the casual wage rates under the appropriate industrial instrument and are inclusive of all other statutory overheads including superannuation, workers compensation and payroll tax (where applicable). All wage rates are inclusive of casual loadings and holiday loadings (where applicable) in accordance with the provisions of the industrial instrument.
Any applicable allowances are charged at cost.
Under these arrangements the employees are on-hired to your company and are not classified as sub-contractors.

The McQuaig System and TRG Plus Matrix are innovative psychometric appraisal systems and services aimed at improving recruitment, reducing staff turnover, enhancing sales and developing motivated employees.
The McQuaig System provides employers with the tools to select people who fit into the company’s culture and to manage them in a way that ensures that they reach their maximum potential.
TRG Plus Matrix offers assessments ranging from skills and abilities such as numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning through aptitudes such as mechanical reasoning; hand to eye coordination and mental agility, or more personality-based assessments viewing an individual’s temperament, emotional maturity or values. We will show you a profile of each of our workers to help you decide which support worker would suit you the most. You may choose one or more support workers. Or you may have a support worker of your own that you would like to employ through us to have continuity of care.
