    Our Services

    On-Hired Services
Under a labour hire arrangement Workforce Extensions provides individual workers to your company and we take responsibility for all elements of the worker’s remuneration. Workers may be provided on a casual, part time, full time or on-going basis as either temporary or relief workers to augment staff during periods of peak or seasonal demand, as specialist staff or on a more permanent basis following the outsourcing of part of a business. Under these arrangements, Workforce Extensions will recruit, select and induct suitable staff and retain these staff as employees, on-hired to your business. Workforce Extensions pays all wages and entitlements, superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation insurance and PAYG withholding. An hourly rate of hire is invoiced to your business on the basis of hours paid to the employee from a duly authorised timesheet. Our hourly rates of hire are based on the casual wage rates under the appropriate industrial instrument and are inclusive of all other statutory overheads including superannuation, workers compensation and payroll tax (where applicable). All wage rates are inclusive of casual loadings and holiday loadings (where applicable) in accordance with the provisions of the industrial instrument. Any applicable allowances are charged at cost. Under these arrangements the employees are on-hired to your company and are not classified as sub-contractors. On-hired staffing offers many potential benefits for companies across all industries including access to a totally scaleable workforce with one phone call. A quality pool of skilled candidates is available to cope with: • Projects of limited duration. • Production fluctuations. • Periods of seasonal demand. • Increased work pace to meet deadlines. • Reduced downtime during planned and unpredicted staff absence (as a pool of quality candidates is always available). On-hired staffing support allows you to: • Simplify your operation and increase your businesses efficiency. • Focus on your core business, whilst leaving the task of recruitment, screening, selection, induction, staff management, payroll and administration to a team of human resources professionals. • Reduce direct and indirect recruitment and employment costs. • Better understand the true cost of recruitment and staff management and to be more productive and add more value with their own time. Whilst it is widely accepted that the use of on-hired staffing streamlines the cost of advertising, payroll, insurance and personal protective equipment, few consider the potential savings in: • Cost of staff time to manage candidate attraction, position enquiries, candidate vetting, selection, background checking and assessment. • Cost of staff time to process payroll, pay wages and entitlements, pay payroll liabilities and manage employee records. • Cost of lost opportunity whilst focusing attention away from core business. • Risk of significant costs on separation, including the giving of notice and exposure to unfair dismissal risk. • Access to a human resources department on demand. Many businesses cannot justify the cost of maintaining a dedicated human resources officer or human resources department. On-hired agencies can be your on-hand professionals providing sophisticated staffing solutions while keeping those staffing problems off your desk. By using an on-hired staffing agency your business will have instant access to a team of human resources professionals with a depth of experience in recruitment, industrial relations, payroll, occupational health and safety, performance management and administration as well as a range of innovative recruitment sources and a tried and tested suite of value added selection tools.
    Permanent Recruitment Services
Workforce Extensions provides a quality, value added permanent executive, professional, technical and trades recruitment service to suit every client from small businesses through to large global organisations. Our service is tailored to meet the needs of your company and the requirements of your vacancy. In today’s highly competitive employment market there are strong reasons for using an effective recruitment consultancy using proven methods. Many employers are confident they can source their own candidates, and spend a lot of time sifting through resumes, calling people they know and trying to match the ideals they have for the position. In reality, using a consultancy immediately taps you into a source of people who have the right skills and attitude and who are on the job market. We develop long-term relationships with companies for whom we recruit and take the time to build personal relationships so that when you need to recruit, we can move faster. We always develop a clear understanding of your organisation and its requirements. Prior to recruitment, Workforce Extensions undertakes position profiling and comprehensive recruitment planning to ensure that we, as recruiters, understand your businesses needs, the requirements of the position and the requirements of the successful applicant. We can help you determine what sort of person you are looking for and can help to identify and detail the requirements of the position and the characteristics that you are looking for in a candidate.
