Vanessa opened the Smithfield franchise in May 2012 and specialises in industrial labour hire and recruitment throughout southwest Sydney. We ask her a few questions:

Q. What are the benefits of being a WorkforceXS Franchisee?

A. The support that you receive from head office – you feel part of a larger organisation and that you are not alone.

Q. What’s the point of difference that WorkforceXS offer?

A. I did consider using other recruitment franchise organisations but felt that the people behind WorkforceXS offered professionalism, a good understanding of their branding and an overall feeling that was above and beyond the financial savings I could have made had I gone with one of their competitors. A. The fact that I have extensive experience in recruitment which means that I instantly understand what my client’s recruitment needs are and how I can best service them.

Q. Do you have any advice for other people interested in a WorkforceXS franchise?

A. Yes, I think it’s really important that you understand recruitment before you buy a recruitment franchise. I think it would be too difficult start running a new business and not have a full understanding of how recruitment works – it’s a lot harder than you think.
