Overview:

Our Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to maintain and repair electrical and telemetry equipment. Your work will directly contribute to providing continuous, safe, efficient, and high-quality water and sewerage services in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrician with us, you will:

• Provide electrical refurbishment, maintenance, and repair services for water supply and sewerage systems.
• Offer technical expertise in electrical areas.
• Test and commission new electrical equipment installations.
• Collaborate with contractors and supervise as needed.
• Plan and check designs for new electrical equipment.
• Assist in budget preparation and asset management.
• Participate in an on-call roster for emergency response.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Electrical Trade Certificate with a Current Electrical Licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• Class C driver's license.
• Physical fitness to meet job requirements.
• Experience with electronic and telemetry equipment/instruments.
• Knowledge of water and sewerage treatment procedures.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Diploma in Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Supervisory experience or formal qualifications.
