Assembly Supervisor

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Assembly Supervisor to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown.

An exciting opportunity exists on dayshift Monday - Friday 7am-3.06pm, for a highly motivated Assembly Supervisor, to become an integral part of the team. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum of at least 5 years at supervisor level, managing staff.
• Current Forklift licence, (Essential)
• Understanding of and commitment to OH&S and QA policies and procedures.

• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability with Excellent communication skills
• Experience coordinating and implementing production schedules meet deadlines and client requirements with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.

• Australian Residency (Essential)
• Demonstrated experience and proven track record in Production Coordination and Supervision within an assembly/ production environment with a stable employment history.
• The ability to work to KPI's and demonstrates accountability.
• Proven leadership skills as a HANDS-ON DOER - ability to mentor a small team to achieve quality and efficiency.
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and tasks with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
• Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable.

• Experience in a similar role is desirable. Supervisor or Management, Assembly or Sheetmetal experience is Preferred.
